If you have a specific electric vehicle in mind, we can help make it a reality. In general, vehicles made before 2000 can be converted to electric power with minimal difficulty. Converting newer vehicles may require more careful attention to safety features and modern communication systems to ensure that they meet OEM and safety standards.
We also provide New Classic Mini conversions(drive-in, drive-out electric) and I-MiEV battery upgrades. Additionally, we are currently working on developing our own EV conversion kits for early model VWs.
Electric vehicle conversions through Electric Dream Machine start at around $70,000+ AUD. The exact price may vary depending on the motor, battery, and other electrical components selected. Whenever possible, we use recycled, high-quality OEM EV components from manufacturers like Tesla and Nissan. We do not offer restoration or painting services.
