Our latest EV conversion underway. This 1971 VW Squareback conversion features a Tesla small rear drive (SDU) motor and 62kWh battery pack. This to our Knowledge will be the first Type 3 VW Squareback in Australia powered by a Tesla motor. Our client mentioned this VW has not moved or started in 20 years. Marten the mechanical whiz, who has many years experience with all types of VW’s was able to get the original engine running, before we removed the internal combustion engine (ICE).
